Character (n) - A persona adopted by a Krumper to express different dance styles and a variety of emotions. It can be described as the sum of technique and attitude. Characters can be strong, eccentric, dominant, etc., and are expressed through clothing and body language. A dancer's character becomes apparent during the second of three intensity levels (Buck). It is often mistakenly believed that a person can embody different characters. This is not true, although a dancer can have different attitudes within their character.
